The Bernie Parent Family Fishing Fun Day is hosted by NHL Legend Bernie Parent on the in-shore waters of Cape May, NJ.  Open to fishing aficionados of every age and level, the outing combines Bernie’s passion for fishing with his enduring dedication to the Philadelphia Flyers community.​ All ticket proceeds benefit Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education.

Bring the whole family, a group of friends, or coworkers and join Bernie and special guests "down the shore" on Friday, July 14. Participants will board The Atlantis Party Boat at the Miss Chris Marina and cast lines for for sea bass, flounder, and "most unusual fish"!

Immediately following the afternoon of fishing, anglers will share their fishing tales poolside at a special BBQ Celebration at the Canyon Club Resort Marina. Prizes will be awarded for each fishing category.

All Proceeds Benefit Snider! Proceeds of the Fishing Challenge benefit Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education – an organization that provides hockey, education, life skills, and academic scholarship programming to inner-city Philadelphia and Camden students at no cost. 100% of event proceeds are donated to Snider. Prior to his passing, Ed Snider had the foresight to create an additional foundation that allows Snider to continue the policy of matching every dollar received 2:1 – thereby tripling your impact on our deserving young people.
